HAROLD – The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department has been cracking down on illegal drug trafficking in Floyd County. On Monday, deputies wrapped up an investigation into the illegal drug trafficking at a residence in the Harold community. Reports were made to the tip line stating Clinton Roberts, of Harold, was dealing illegal drugs out of his home located in the Fox Bottom community. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department launched an investigation into the allegations and was able to gather sufficient evidence that led them to believe the allegations were true.
Deputies presented their case to a Floyd County Grand Jury which returned an indictment for the arrest of Roberts for trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree. Roberts was arrested and lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
