Grand jury hands down indictments

PRESTONSBURG – A Floyd County Circuit Court Grand Jury handed down indictments on Tuesday, April 19. A breakdown of the individuals indicted on criminal charges follows.

Johnny Stewart was indicted on two charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Jason Huffman was indicted on two charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Herbert Hoover Hall, II was indicted on the following charges: forgery in the second degree, theft of identity, fraudulent use of a credit card after report lost/stolen under $10,000 within six months, theft of property lost, misled, or delivered by mistake.

Ashley Hall was indicted on the following charges: forgery in the second degree, theft of identity, fraudulent use of a credit card after report lost/stolen under $10,000 within six months, theft of property lost, misled, or delivered by mistake.

Timothy Wallen was indicted on the charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and criminal mischief in the first degree.

Austin Blanton was indicted on the charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and criminal mischief in the first degree.

Kevin Bray was indicted on the following charges: promoting contraband in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, possession of marijuana, controlled substance not in original container, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, failure to surrender revoked operators license and persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Alex Hall was indicted on the following charges: theft of identity, give a peace officer a false name or address, perjury in the first degree and forgery in the second degree.

Joshua D. Powers was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Jerica Banks was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Timothy McKay Hicks was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

John M. King was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Edward D. Lester was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Kayla Conn was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Rebecca K. Smith was indicted on the charge possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.

Randy Hubbard was indicted on the following charges: use of an electronic communications system to procure a minor to commit a sexual offense, using minors to distribute material portraying a sexual performance by a minor, harassing communications and persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Johnny M. Daniels was indicted on the charges rape in the first degree and sexual abuse in the first degree.

Each individual is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
