PRESTONSBURG – The Floyd County office of the Kentucky Educators’ Political Action Committee (KEPAC) has officially endorsed Greg Stumbo for the 2016 primary election. Stumbo is running for the 95th District State Representative office.
KEPAC’s mission is to promote the cause of public education in Kentucky through political action. The organization takes a bi-partisan approach, supporting both Republicans and Democrats for elected office, seeking the top candidate in support of education. In determining the candidate for support, KEPAC considers voting record on education issues of particular importance to KEA members. In considering the education issues and past voting actions, KEPAC believes Greg Stumbo is the candidate in the district who will protect the future of all Kentuckians by preserving public education.
Stumbo met with officials at the KEA office in Floyd County to accept the endorsement on Thursday.
