STANVILLE–Whether you are a small business owner, artist, or crafter, you can now rent space at The Stanville Vendor’s Mall. The vendor’s mall is now open and renting booth space along US 23 in Stanville.
The new business is located inside the old IGA building that sits next to Eric C. Conn’s Law Office Complex and across from the Cardinal Country Store.
The new business is owned and operated by Crystal Watson of Isom.
Watson started out as a vendor herself, at the Isom Vendor Mall.
“I have always loved antiques and crafts. I opened a booth at Isom Vendor’s Mall and was doing very well. When the opportunity became available for my husband and I to purchase Isom Vendor Mall, we jumped at the chance. We also Addie’s Treasures in Isom,” said Watson.
The new Stanville Vendor’s Mall will feature 50 different booths. Prices vary: 8×12 rents for $200, 8×8 rents for $135, and 4×8 rents for $70. The business is open seven days a week 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They offer a 30- day layaway for any item and require 30 percent as a down payment.
The new business offers everything from antiques, health and beauty aids, toys to groceries. One of Watson’s new vendors at the new Stanville location is Tammy Ashley of Unique Treasures located in Knott County.
Ashley operates seven booths at both the Stanville and Isom Vendor Mall.
If you are wondering what a “Vendor’s Mall” is, it is similar to a flea market only you don’t have to be present to sell your items and it is located indoors instead of outdoors.
You consign your items to the owner and they keep track of all purchases for you. All the vendor has to do is rent a space, keep their space filled with priced inventory and collect their money.
You may contact the owner, Crystal Watson, for more information at 606-478-5991 or simply stop by and check it out. Everyone is sure to find something they like.
