PRESTONSBURG – Harold D. Fannin, of Wooten Road in Tomahawk, was arrested in Prestonsburg at 10 a.m. on Friday. Fannin is accused of being involved in a hit and run accident on East Court Street.
A police reports states Fannin was driving a 2012 silver Dodge pickup truck. Police questioned Fannin about the hit and run accident and he denied striking the vehicle. Police examined Fannin’s Dodge truck and discovered pieces of fresh broken tail lamp on the rear bumper and a busted driver side tail light.
Fannin was unable to produce an insurance card or proof of insurance. He was charged with failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense and leaving the scene of accident – failure to render aid or assistance.
Fannin is scheduled to appear in court on August 24 at 9:30 a.m.
