PRESTONSBURG – Following the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Larry D. Brown announced his support for Donald Trump, the party’s nominee for President.
“We have seen first hand the devastation the past eight years of Barack Obama’s presidency has caused in eastern Kentucky,” said Brown. “The policies espoused by President Obama and Hillary Clinton have decimated the coal industry. Clinton has already promised to put our coal miners completely ‘out of business’ and if elected she will attempt to do exactly that.
“I’m confident that in electing Donald Trump as President, we will be able to reinvigorate our economy and get our state back on track.”
Brown is the Republican nominee for the 95th District in the Kentucky House of Representatives. An attorney in Prestonsburg and an active member of his church, he is married to his wife Terri, and together they have two sons, Chase and Andrew.
