PIKEVILLE – Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Floyd County Chamber will offer two workshops under the direction of Rachelle Burchett, CEO of The Communication Trainer.

“Customer Service-It’s Not About You” will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This workshop will demonstrate participants how to identify the different styles and make every encounter with their customers count.

“Making It Personal – Selling with Style” will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This workshop will teach participants how to restyle their sales pitch to meet customer demands and increase profits.

Both workshops will be held at Morehead State University’s Postsecondary Building, room 115, 6 Bert T. Combs Drive in Prestonsburg.

Burchett has a diverse background including non-profit, public relations and now a top performer in sales. She has utilized these positions to grow personally and professionally. Her passion is people and helping them learn more about themselves and ways to communicate successfully.

Training sessions are being offered at no cost but prior registration is required.

Training programs, sponsored or co-sponsored by SBDC, are available to all individuals without regard to race, color, sex, creed or national origin. Special arrangements will be made for those with disabilities if requested in advance.
