Prestonsburg City Council discusses yearly bids, renaming road

The Prestonsburg City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday.


PRESTONSBURG –The Prestonsburg City County met for a regular scheduled meeting on Monday.

The council voted to do yearly bids for all items requiring a yearly bid in January of each year. Another topic that has been discussed at past meetings was the renaming of Meff Road at StoneCrest. Council members voted unanimously to rename the road Sugar Camp Mountain Road.

The last item on the agenda was the reading of Ordinance No. 02-0217, which establishes the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as the regular planned Prestonsburg City Council meeting. No other items were discussed and the meeting was adjourned.
