PAINTSVILLE — Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Big Sandy Area Development District will host “Adventure Tourism Focused Business Development - Dawkins Trail,” Thursday, May 22 in Paintsville at Big Sandy Community and Technical College, Building C., from 2 -4 p.m., and at Morehead State University at Prestonsburg, Postsecondary Education Center, Room 117, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn how Adventure Tourism and the “Dawkins Rails to Trails” project can help grow and start new business in your area. The workshop will showcase starting a business in Kentucky, finding and securing funding, adventure tourism focused business development, permits, licensing and regulations along with rails to trails information and updates.
The free workshop is for all participants; however, seating is limited and advance registration is recommended.
