No injuries were reported Friday morning after two vehicles collided along Highway 7 near Viper.
According to a witness at the scene, the collision happened when a gray Dodge Dakota veered into the path of an oncoming cement truck traveling south toward Cornettsville. The two vehicles collided, with the driver of the cement truck losing control before the truck ended up in a roadside ditch, overturned on it side.
The Dodge pickup sustained damage to the front left of the vehicle, and came to rest next to a guardrail about 100 feet away. Police at the scene said no injuries were sustained to either driver, and there were no other vehicles involved.
The road is currently open to one lane of traffic, and drivers in the area are urged to use caution while crews work to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
