I want to refer back a few issues of The Tiems and make some observations on some of the cartoons and articles by Donald Kaul and others.

I am amazed at the stupidity of some of the things people will do and say, “excluding myself, of course.” The person that blamed the six hurricanes of the last hurricane season on six prominent Republicans, will now have to “repent,” since this hurricane season we are way below average for these storms. Let’s call these storms after three foolish people in Washington: Obama, O’biden and that old she-devil, Ginsburg, that sits on the Supreme Court.

Now folks, listen to me. Yes, we are and will be facing more disasters in the future. We can call it global warming or anything else we want to, but it’s all brought about because of this world’s rejection of God. Think about it. His word says in Revelation 16:8-9 how mankind would be scorched with fire from the sun in the last days because of “sin.”

This nation and the earth itself is going to pay a terrible price for the evils that are going on in this present, evil world. In the next several years, I want you young folks to remember what I have written, as this country falls apart because of our sins and our stupidity.

I got a laugh out of Kaul’s article on religions. Because of his atheism and lack of understanding of the word of God, The Bible,” him writing about religion makes about as much sense as me writing about nuclear physics. All I can is is, “God, have mercy on them,” because if they don’t “repent,” they are going to a very hot place. That place will make global warming feel like air conditioning.

Now, let me say this. My remakrs about Sheriff Blackburn’s and Hattie Owens’ sons getting leniency has nothing to do with my support of them over the years. I voted for Jackie Owens, except when my next-door neighbor was on the ballot. When Jackie asked me to vote for him, I told him why I couldn’t. He said, “I thank you for being honest with me.” From that day on, we could talk openly and honestly with friendship and comradeship. As far as Hattie, I don’t have to say anything, because she knows how I feel about her and all of her family, every one of them.

Two of my sons worked for John K when they were in college. They did security work for his firm. We deeply appreciate that and he received our support over all these years. However, I’m discouraged by his own actions and the fact that his son and Hattie’s were not subject to the weight of the law, like other people’s children that have no influence in our county. Now folks, there is no reason for you to be mad at me, because you know I’m right.

Let me tell you a little story. When one of my sons was attending the University of Kentucky, he got a speeding ticket near Campton on the Mountain Parkway, coming home one Friday evening. When I took him up there to pay his fine, the person we spoke to said, “I don’t know who this young man is, but we have never received so many calls in support of him, calls from doctors, lawyers and political people in the state government.” I asked the lady, “Did you receive any calls from his father?” She looked at me and said, “No, I did not, Mr. Tussey.” I did not ask leniency for him, nor did I ask anyone, and I mean anyone, to help him. Do you know why? Because my son was endangering the lives of everyone on that road. I was made then, and I’m still mad at him. If you don’t believe, just ask Dr. Tussey and see what he will tell you.

Now, editor, I will return to my theme of “Where have all the hypocrites gone?”

Another of the illustrations in your paper showed a teacher with a weapon across her chest. Yes, that’s what it’s coming to. You hypocrites ask yourselves, “Why?” It’s the same reason that the Newtown tragedy happened. In the schoolrooms, teachers are going to have to protect themselves against the mobs of undisciplined zombies that we have been raising in America for the last 50 years. You liberal hypocrites are mostly to blame, because you have done everything you could possible do to take the control of our children away from the parents, teachers and law enforcement, and most critical of all, removing the word of God from all segments of society or any other thing that would help control violence in our nation. Hypocrites, repent, before it’s too late.

Thank you, editor, for publishing my rants or tirades or whatever you want to call them. But that’s the way I see it. My next letter, I will continue on my theme, “Hypocrites.”
