MARTIN — Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) employees will gather at the Foley Mission Center on Thursday, May 1, in Martin, Kentucky, in recognition of the National Day of Prayer, which is an annual observance inviting all people to pray for our communities, nation and its leaders.

Christian Appalachian Project will recognize 50 Years of commitment to those in need in Appalachia starting September 2014 through August 2015. CAP’s Documentary: “50 Years in the Mountains: The Story of the Christian Appalachian Project,” will air on KET, May 9, at 9:30 p.m.

The Christian Appalachian Project is an interdenominational non-profit Christian organization committed to serving people in need in Appalachia by providing physical, spiritual, and emotional support through a wide variety of programs and services.
