PIKEVILLE – For the third straight season, University of Pikeville junior goalkeeper Chelsea Schulte earned All Mid-South Conference honors, being named to the second team by conference officials on Wednesday.
Schulte collected 65 saves on the season, ranking eighth in the MSC. In 14 starts, the Burlington native allowed an average of 2.3 goals per game, while posting three shutouts with a .677 save percentage.
In 2012 and 2011, Schulte was an All-MSC First-Team selection.
UPIKE finished 7-8-1 overall this season, including a 1-7-1 mark against MSC teams. Seven wins were the most for the program since the 2008 season when it finished 10-6.
