WILLIAMSON, W.Va. - The annual Hatfield-McCoy Shootout will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Williamson Fieldhouse and feature eight high school basketball games, one of which will include the Wesley Christian Circuit Raiders.

The annual event pits teams from Kentucky against squads from neighboring West Virginia. Wesley Christian is scheduled to meet Man, W.Va., at 2 p.m. in the Hatfield-McCoy Shootout.

Mark Whitt is the Hatfield-McCoy Shootout event director. Simpkins Law Office, located in Williamson, serves as the sponsor for the Hatfield-McCoy Shootout.

Reigning 14th Region champion Knott County Central will meet South Charleston in one of the Hatfield-McCoy Shootout’s marquee matchups.

Phelps, Pike County Central, East Ridge, Sheldon Clark and Belfry will represent the 15th Region in the longtime boys’ high school basketball event.
