PIPPA PASSES - Daishon Robinson scored a game-high 26 points to lead visiting Berea past Alice Lloyd on Tuesday night. Prevailing in the KIAC game, Berea beat host Alice Lloyd 79-67.

Berea improved to 10-6 overall and 3-3 in the KIAC after posting the win.

Alice Lloyd fell to 8-8 overall and 3-2 in the conference as a result of the loss.

Excelling after intermission, Berea managed to pull away in the second half. The two teams were knotted 28-28 at halftime.

A 51-39 Berea scoring advantage in the second half led to the Mountaineers’ win.

Stuart Stamper paced Alice Lloyd with a team-best 25 points. Stamper was 11-for-16 shooting from the field.

Cody Stumbo followed, scoring 12 points and pulling down seven rebounds for the Eagles.

Cody Malicoat, a sophomore, chipped in 10 points for the Eagles.

The Eagles are now venturing out on an extended road trip. Alice Lloyd will face St. Louis College of Pharmacy (SLCOP) at Asbury on Friday. Tip-off for the Alice Lloyd-Asbury men’s basketball game is set for 8 p.m.

The Eagles will visit Indiana University Southeast on Saturday. Tip-off for Alice Lloyd-Indiana University Southeast game is set for 4 p.m.

The Alice Lloyd women’s basketball teams will also face opponents from the same schools.
