SITKA - The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series will visit 201 Speedway for the $10,000-to-win Hatfield & McCoy Feuding 50 on Saturday night. The tradition-rich dirt Late Model racing series is set to make its first visit to the Johnson County track.

There will be a complete show for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series with Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains and a 50-lap feature event paying $10,000 to win. The Bomber division will run as the support class at 201 Speedway.

Both pit and general admission gates will open at 3 p.m. during the upcoming racenight.

Don O’Neal led the LOLMDS stars into a busy week of racing with the lead in the series championship point standings over three-time and reigning LOLMDS National Champion Jimmy Owens.

Scott Bloomquist has moved up to third in the chase for the LOLMDS National Championship. At the start of the week, Steve Francis, Earl Pearson Jr., Eddie Carrier Jr., Jared Landers, John Blankenship, Dennis Erb Jr. and Jason Hughes rounded out the Top 10 in the series championship point standings.

Hughes holds a slim lead over Jason Papich in the chase for the 2014 Dunn-Benson Rookie of the Year title. Both rookie drivers continue to improve each week as they compete at new tracks.
