Alpha Jean Hamilton, 66, of Teaberry, died Friday, March 1, 2013.
She was born May 22, 1946, to the late Triplett and Frona Hamilton Hall. She was the wife of the late Donald Ray Hamilton, a homemaker, and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and a sister, Carlos Hall, Sammy Hall, Willie Hall, Earl Hall , Merlon Hall and Irene Hall.
She is survived by her daughters, Angie (Junebug) Newsom, Raelynn (Derek) Chapman and Wendy (Russell) Conn; grandchildren, Brittany, Bo, Seth and Chase; great-granddaughter, Aubrey; and brothers and sisters, Ruben Hall, Cletus Hall, Georgie Hall, Evelyn Taylor, Nadine Tackett and Geraldine Bentley.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 4, at Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, at Teaberry. Burial followed the service in the Hamilton Cemetery, at Teaberry.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
