Anna Mae Collins, 58, of Wayland, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her residence.

She was born March 14, 1954, to the late Hollie Collins and Aileen Thornsbury Collins. She was the wife of Charles Ray Collins, and worked as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Sissy Gibson.

She is survived by two sons, Russell “Ricky” Ward, of California, and Scotty Gibson, of Wayland; one daughter, Tammy Artrip, of California; four brothers, Raymond Collins of Garrett, Otis Collins, Ed Collins and Michael Collins, all of Wayland; one sister, Mary Oma Watkins, of Wayland; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, at Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church, at Estill. Burial will follow the service at the Collins Family Cemetery in Wayland.
