The Floyd County Rescue Squad responded to Paintsville Lake, where a Prestonsburg man died following a boat crash.

Emergency crews, including the Floyd County Rescue Squad, were called to Paintsville Lake Saturday afternoon to respond to the site of a boat wreck. According to witnesses at the scene, two boats collided in a curve, ejecting a man and a woman. The woman was rescued from the water and was reportedly uninjured, but rescuers were still attempting to locate the man. Identities of the victims has not yet been released.
