PIPPA PASSES - Sophomore Carla Booth has been named the Alice Lloyd College Female Athlete of the Week following her play in the Lady Eagles’ last two games.
On Tuesday, Jan. 29, Booth had nine points, five rebounds and two steals versus Berea College. After scoring a career-high 42 points in a game against Brescia University, Booth turned in a solid all-around effort versus Berea.
Booth excelled in ALC’s home game versus IU Southeast on Saturday. The productive Booth consistently found teammate Ariel Nickell, helping the junior forward to score 39 points. Booth also thrived, scoring 26 points of her own. The sophomore guard also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists.
Booth is averaging 16.5 points, 4.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game for the Lady Eagles. She ranks second in the conference in assists and fifth in scoring.
