Debbie J. Thompson, 57, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.

She was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Prestonsburg, KY, daughter of the late John D. Lemaster and Joyce (Robert) Fent. Debbie was the business owner of D&K Bookkeeping and Tax Services for 26 years and Touch of Tropical Sun Tanning for 15 years. She loved movies, traveling, shopping and going to the Riverboat. Debbie was a family person who enjoyed having cookouts and just hanging out with those she loved.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 14 years, Terry “Hank” Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime (Eric) Lee; granddaughter, Audrey Lee; step-children, Jenifer (James) Stout, of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert Thompson, of Fayetteville, N.C., and Kerri Bolton, of Jacksonville, Fla.; her four-legged child, Daisy; and close friend, Candi Moore.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John David Lemaster III.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home-Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home, with Craig Grammer officiating. Entombment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
