Jimmy Dale Smith Sr., 60, of Prestonsburg, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
He was born June 12, 1951, to the late James and Carrie Thacker Smith. He was the husband of Joy Sanders Smith and was a disabled auto body man.
He is survived by three sons, Jimmy Dale (Pam) Smith Jr., of Prestonsburg, Rusty (Jolean) Smith, of Johnson County, and Tony (Melissa) Smith, of Ivel; one daughter, Angie Osborne, of Martin; 12 grandchildren, Marissa, Steven, Justin, Chasity, Jenna, David, Steven, Taylor, Sammi, Taylor, Nick, Austin, Matthew; and two great grandchildren, Jade and Jonathan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin, with David Garrett officiating. Burial will follow the service at Boyd Cemetery in Dana.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
