Orville David Scutchfield, 63, of Prestonsburg, died Dec. 22, 2011, at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center, in Hazard.
He was born Nov. 28, 1948, in Prestonsburg, to the late Erman “Bub” and Maurine Harmon Scutchfield. He was a maintenance worker for Dalton Foundry, in Warsaw, Ind., and was a member of the Third Avenue Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Bryan Keith (Heather) Scutchfield, of Warsaw, Ind., and one sister, Sandra (Clarence) Frasure, of Prestonsburg.
Funeral services for Orville David Scutchfield were held Monday, Dec. 26, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Phillip Ramey and Bill Whitaker officiating. Burial followed in the Mayo Cemetery, in Prestonsburg.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
