Ruby Ann Adams, 64, of Prestonsburg, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at her residence.

Born May 29, 1945, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Patton and Mountie Johnson Mullins. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church, in Hi Hat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Adams.

Survivors include four sons: Jimmy Darrell Adams, Mark Allen Adams, Arnold Lee Adams, and Lewis Adams, all of Prestonsburg; one daughter, Louise Watkins of Prestonsburg; two brothers: Carlos Mullins of Dorton; and Charles Mullins of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters: Grace Little and Linda Johnson, both of Weeksbury; and 16 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Pete, Astor “Badge,” and Chester Ray Mullins; and two sisters: Edna Mae Bates and Mary Mullins.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 27, at 11 a.m., at the Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church, in Hi Hat, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating.

Burial was in the Tackett and Mullins Cemetery, in Weeksbury, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin.

Visitation was at the church.
