PRESTONSBURG - Four people charged with making meth in a Prestonsburg low income housing apartment were arraigned in Floyd County Circuit Court Monday following grand jury indictments.

Ronald Wicker, Douglas Blackburn, and Laura Tackett each plead not guilty to the charges of complicity to manufacture methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth precursor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A fourth man who was also indicted following February’s drug bust at Green Acres Apartments, Harry McCoy, had failed to answer a summons for a pre-trial interview, and was taken into custody. Circuit Judge John David Caudill told McCoy that he could not arraign him until that interview took place, and said that he may be able to get to him on Tuesday.

McCoy is charged with complicity to manufacture methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, first degree possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance not in original container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wicker, Blackburn, and Tackett are each scheduled to appear in court again on August 2, 2013 for a pre-trial conference.

Blackburn and Tackett are each being held on $5000 cash bond. Wicker is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. McCoy is being held without bond until he can be arraigned.

Manurfacturing methamphetamine is a Class B Felony.
