Hall headed to Alice Lloyd College

Shane Hall is set to return to the court. A Johnson Central High School graduate, Hall is headed to Alice Lloyd College.


PIPPA PASSES – Former Marshall University commit and Johnson Central High School standout Shane Hall (6-9, 215) will be playing for the Alice Lloyd College men’s basketball team and Coach J.R. Hammond during the 2015-16 season.

A three-time Associated Press All-State selection ( 2012 Second Team; 2013, 2014 First Team), Hall scored 1,756 points (fourth all-time at JCHS), grabbed 1,147 rebounds (first all-time at JCHS), registered 71 double-doubles (first all-time at JCHS), logged five triple-doubles (first all-time at JCHS) and delivered 220 dunks (first all-time at JCHS). Hall was a two-time 15th Region MVP (2012, 2013) and is second all-time in the state in blocked shots with 474 (first all-time at JCHS).

The former Golden Eagle attended Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) in Prestonsburg after leaving Marshall University. He will join former teammate Braxton Blair at Alice Lloyd College.

Hall, a Prestonsburg native, announced his college decision in July.

The Eagles compete in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC), which also includes Asbury, Brescia, Cincinnati Christian, IU Kokomo, IU Southeast, Carlow, IU East, Ohio Christian, Point Park, Rio Grande and West Virginia Tech.

Alice Lloyd ended the 12-17 overall and 7-6 in the KIAC.
