MOREHEAD – The Morehead State University football program has announced its spring practice schedule. The Eagles are set to participate in 14 on-field sessions in March and April, leading up to the annual spring game, sponsored by Aramark, on Saturday, April 22.

More than 60 players from the 2016 squad are expected to return for spring workouts, to be joined by several mid-year transfers from two-year or four-year schools. Athletes are going through individual workouts and off-season conditioning currently. Prestonsburg High School graduate Dalton Frasure is headed into his season season with the Eagles.

Morehead State football workouts will culminate with the spring game at 1 p.m. on April 22 . The tailgate area will open at 11 a.m., and all former players who received all-Pioneer League accolades during their careers will be recognized at halftime.
