HAGER HILL – Another Piarist School student-athlete is headed to the next level. Piarist School senior Taylor Eckle made her college choice official on Wednesday morning, signing with Asbury University. The Piarist senior is set to join the Asbury women’s basketball program.

Eckle is the 12th basketball player to sign with a college during veteran head coach Kevin Tackett’s tenure at the Piarist School.

“I’m proud of her work ethic and being a player that everyone liked playing with,” Tackett commented, following Eckle’s signing.

Eckle played in 24 of the Piarist School girls’ basketball team’s 26 games during the 2016-17 season.

Asbury competes in the River States Conference, which also features Alice Lloyd, Brescia, Carlow, Cincinnati Christian, IU East, IU Kokomo, IU Southeast, Midway, Ohio Christian, Point Park, Rio Grande and WVU Tech.
