Lady Blackcats top Perry County Central, 4-1

PRESTONSBURG – The Prestonsburg Lady Blackcats beat the Perry County Central Lady Commodores 4-1 in a girls’ high school soccer game at StoneCrest Sportspark on Tuesday night.

With the win, Prestonsburg improved to 1-1-1.

Perry County Central dropped to with the loss.

Prestonsburg used a balanced offensive effort to defeat Perry County Central. Hannah Little, McKenzie Little, Makayla Slone and Kaylee Williams scored one goal apiece for the Lady Blackcats in the win.

Jackie Kidd provided a pair of assists for Prestonsburg in the victory.

Jillian Kidd and Hannah Little added one assist each for the Lady Blackcats.

Pacing Prestonsburg defensively, goalkeeper Maddy Ousley limited Perry County Central to only one goal.

Prestonsburg was hosting Letcher County Central on Thursday. The Prestonsburg-Letcher County Central girls’ soccer game ended too late to make this edition.
