Staff Report

RICHMOND – Eastern Kentucky University will give away two scholarships at its Tradition Night on Wednesday at Roy Kidd Stadium. Tradition Night gives students an opportunity to learn EKU’s current traditions and start new ones of their own.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Two $1,000 scholarships, funded by the President’s office, will be given away. Students must be present to claim the scholarships.

The Marching Colonels, cheerleaders and dance team will be on hand to teach the fight song and cheers to the crowd.

Free pizza will be available. At the end of the event students will have the chance to pose for the traditional slanted E photo on the football field.

Students are asked to enter at the northwest corner of the stadium, the traditional student entrance, and to sit in the designated student section (sections A and B). Overflow seating will be available on the hill and in the upper level.

All EKU students receive free admission to all sporting events.
