PIKEVILLE – An already award-winning dancing career for Bayley Noelle Copley will continue at the University of Pikeville as head dance coach Jill Darby announced the signing of her scholarship agreement with the Bears on Wednesday.

Copley is a native of Paintsville, where she attends Paintsville High School. She led the Paintsville High dance team to back-to-back state championships, a 2013 regional grand championship and back-to-back regional titles.

A three-time county champ, Copley has also enjoyed five years of experience with Dance Etc., as an elite dancer, taken home a 2012 Grand National Championship and had the opportunity to perform at the All-American NFL Pro Bowl halftime.

Copley is set to join a UPIKE dance program that has qualified for the NDA National Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla., for the past two seasons, including qualifying for the first time in 2014.
