Three UPIKE men’s basketball players earn Academic All-MSC honors

PIKEVILLE – Three members of the University of Pikeville men’s basketball program earned Academic All-MSC honors, league officials announced on Wednesday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

UPIKE’s honorees include Jackson Hussey, Gatlin Clark and Jared Gambrel. Hussey is a two-time recipient of the award, while Clark and Gambrel earn the honor as part of the junior-varsity program.

Community Trust Bank is the sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Academic Award program.
