PRESTONSBURG – The Highlands Foundation will celebrate Autism Awareness Month by hosting the seventh annual Autism Jigsaw 5K on Saturday, April 23 beginning at Archer Clinic in Prestonsburg.
The event will begin with a Kids’ Fun Run for children ages 10 and under at 6:30 p.m. The 5K run/walk will start at 7 p.m. This year, the 5K is a glow run. Participants will receive glow sticks, glow necklaces and bracelets, a t-shirt and more.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Highlands Center for Autism. Highlands Center for Autism is the first center-based program in Kentucky, exclusively using Applied Behavior Analysis, a process that uses behavioral techniques to teach children basic and complex skills in a clinical setting.
