PRESTONSBURG – The Prestonsburg Hustle travel basketball program will hold an individual camp for girls and boys headed into grades 1-7 June 6-8 at Adams Middle School. The camp, under the direction of Coach Doug Hopkins, will take place from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and a basketball.

The Prestonsburg Hustle travel basketball program has excelled throughout the offseason. Hopkins, who guides the Adams Middle School boys’ basketball program, continues to work on scheduling for the 2016-17 season. Earlier in the schoolyear, Prestonsburg basketball teams swept Floyd County championships.

“I am working on putting a James “Doc” Adams Holiday Classic on during Christmas break,” Hopkins commented. “We will be hosting eighth- and seventh-grade divisions. I am hoping to make this one of biggest middle school tournaments in the area.”

Additional coverage of the Prestonsburg Hustle travel basketball program will appear in The Times throughout the summer.
