SITKA – The Bob Miller Memorial, scheduled for Sunday night at 201 Speedway, was canceled. Early morning showers and the forecast for continued rain throughout the day on Sunday forced 201 Speedway and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to cancel the event.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will head to Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill. on Friday for the “Battle at the Beach 50.” On Saturday, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will return to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo. for the annual CMH “Diamond Nationals.” The blockbuster dirt track racing weekend will come to a close on Sunday night, July 12 with the completion of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com.
Founded in 2005, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is the nation’s premier dirt late model sanctioning organization. The LOLMDS is on pace to sanction 50 events in 19 states this year.
