Camp of Champions held at AMS

The Prestonsburg Basketball Camp of Champions featured 64 campers.


Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt and some of his deputies visited the Prestonsburg Basketball Camp of Champions.


PRESTONSBURG – The Prestonsburg Basketball Camp of Champions included 64 young boys’ and girls’ basketball players in grades 1-7 Monday, June 6-Wednesday, June 8 at Adams Middle School.

The Camp of Champions was the direction of the current Adams Middle School Head Coach and Prestonsburg Hustle Director Doug Hopkins. Former high school head coach and Prestonsburg Hustle Assistant Director Brent Rose assisted with the camp. Additional members of the camp staff included former high school players.

Each camper received a T-Shirt, certificate of participation and camp basketball. Instruction was provided and fundamentals were taught throughout the camp, which featured a visit from Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt and some of his deputies.
