Adams reaches semifinals in 7-0n-7 tournament

Adams Middle School made it to the semifinals of the 7-on-7 football tournament at the University of Kentucky on Saturday.


LEXINGTON – Adams Middle School reached the semifinals of the annual middle school 7-on-7 football tournament at the University of Kentucky on Saturday.

Adams was among the final eight teams remaining in the tournament. The Blackcats faced talented opponents throughout the event.

Adams defeated Westport. The Blackcats, however, dropped games to Jefferson County Traditional and Southern Pulaski.

In tournament play, Adams beat Indian Hills (Ind.) and Boyle County.

Knoxville Fulton (Tenn.) topped Adams to eliminate the Blackcats from the University of Kentucky-hosted middle school 7-on-7 football tournament.

The Adams Middle School football team will begin preseason practice in July.
