PRESTONSBURG – The Blackcat Touchdown Club has been busy giving back to its two feeder programs.

The Prestonsburg High School football program’s boosters club bought the Adams Middle School football program new helmets and jerseys totalling around $7,000.

But Adams wasn’t the only youth football team benefiting from the Blackcat Touchdown Club’s generosity.

The Blackcat Touchdown Club spent around $6,000 on new uniforms for the rejuvenated Allen Elementary School football program.

The Prestonsburg High School football program also conducted a camp at Allen Elementary School earlier in the month.

Current Prestonsburg High School head coach John DeRossett is the winningest coach in school history. DeRossett will guide the Blackcats into a 2016 season opener in August. The Blackcats compete in Class 2A, District 8.
