WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – Floyd Countian Ervin Vance returned to victory lane over the weekend, driving to a win in the Cletus Classic presented by Grooms Trucking along with Whitley Gahm and Rayburn CPAs at Portsmouth Raceway Park (PRP) on Saturday night.
Vance and fellow drivers Shon Flanary and Keith Smith won heat races in the Modified division.
Flanary placed second behind Vance in the Cletus Classic. Struggling in the feature event, Smith finished last, occupying the 20th position.
Other feature race winners at the southern Ohio dirt track were RJ Conley (Late Model), Mike Meyers (Limited Late Model), Brian Sammons, Jr. (Sport Mod) and Zack Pendleton (Bomber).

Vance ranks as one of the Tri-State’s top Modified drivers.
