SITKA – Jackie Boggs wouldn’t be denied the victory in the 2nd Annual Bob Miller Memorial on Friday night. Boggs drove his way to a win in the 2nd Annual Bob Miller Memorial, which boasted numerous accomplished Late Model drivers.

Boggs outlasted fellow veteran driver Greg Johnson to victory lane in the 2nd Annual Bob Miller Memorial.

Eddie Carrier, Jr., an accomplished driver from Knott County who was behind the wheel of the number 10 Late Model, placed third despite piloting a new car.

Tim Dohm finished fourth and James Williamson fifth to round out the top-five in the Bob Miller Memorial.

Scott Bloomquist, one of the nation’s top drivers, finished eighth.

Floyd County drivers Shannon Thornsberry and Brandon Kinzer placed 12th and 18th, respectively. Thornsberry is now driving a number 99 Late Model.

Boggs, Johnson and Dohm won heat races prior to the Late Model feature event.
