Soler attends Kentucky Friday Night Blue Lights Camp

EASTERN – Allen Central High School senior linebacker Chase Soler attended the Kentucky Friday Night Blue Lights Camp at the University of Kentucky on Friday.

Several college coaches from all levels attended the football recruiting showcase, which featured high school players from throughout the state. During the event, Soler (6-1, 220) ran a 4.9 40-yard dash.

Soler attended the University of Kentucky high school camp for four years. He had always looked forward to attending the senior event.

Soler is also a member of the Allen Central bass fishing team. While competing in the KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship in May, Soler, a member of the 15th Region championship squad, earned the Forcht Bank All-Around Excellence Award.

Soler is listed as a Class 2A, District 8 Player to Watch in The Cats’ Pause 2015 Kentucky Football Yearbook. During his junior season, Soler led the Rebels defensively, registering 86 tackles, 34 of which were solo stops.
