Harold Rogers, age 66, of Glenmont, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 18 at his home following 17 months of declining health from a Glioblastoma brain tumor. He was born in Floyd County and was the son of Virgil and Dodie (Moore) Rogers. On July 31, 1999 he married Helen Haver.

He worked for over 30 years for Akron Brass Company of Wooster, Ohio and retired in 2002. He was a member of the Millersburg Church of God and spent much of his retirement years volunteering at the Food Pantry at the Millersburg Church of God. He enjoyed helping others and was an avid mushroom hunter.

Surviving in addition to his wife Helen are children: Nyla (Rodney) Summers of Jeromesville,Ohio – Tara Starling of Congress Ohio – Niles Felter of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania – Nathan Felter of Wooster, Ohio – and Manny Rogers of Glenmont, Ohio; Nine grandchildren include: two great grandchildren; siblings, Myrl (Teresa) McKinney of Harold – Roy (Rhonda) Rogers of Bradenton, Florida- Juanita Wood of Zephyrhills, Florida – Debra (Gary) Goldie of Pebbles, Ohio – Marylou (Robert) McComas of Huntington, West Virginia – Imogene Meade of Mt. Clemens, Michigan – Martha (Donnie)Trent of Corbin, Kentucky and Amanda Hatfield of Harold.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Aaron Rogers.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the Millersburg Church of God with Pastor David Masters officiating. Private burial will be at the Wooster Cemetery.
