MOREHEAD – Morehead State University senior slot receiver Justin Cornwall has been selected to the Preseason All-Pioneer Football League squad as a return specialist. The Cincinnati native is coming off a 2014 campaign in which he was tabbed First-Team All-PFL.

Cornwall ranked second in the conference in kick-return average (22.9) while recording a career-long of 47 yards against Jacksonville. He also averaged 12.9 yards on punt returns, including a career-best 58-yarder at Davidson. Cornwall tied for the team lead with six touchdown receptions while producing 420 receiving yards.

Previously Cornwall, along with six other Eagles, were tabbed preseason All-Americans by USA College Football.

Morehead State was picked eighth in the league in a vote by the head coaches. San Diego was the coaches choice to claim the PFL title. Jacksonville is not eligible for the championship due to a league-imposed penalty.

Morehead State will open its 2015 season on Sept. 5 at James Madison.
