Perry County Central High School graduate Caitlyn Dixon signed with the University of Pikeville women's tennis program during a ceremony held at her school.
PIKEVILLE – The rebirth of the tennis program at the University of Pikeville will afford several athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level while continuing to play their sport.
Such is the case for a Perry County student-athlete.
Caitlyn Dixon, a recent graduate of Perry County Central High School, signed a scholarship agreement with the school recently. Dixon, the daughter of John and Rebecca Campbell and Ray and Mary Dixon, will enroll in the fall.
Dixon is a four-year tennis player and was captain of the Commodores this season.
