Mrs. Arizmendi was born on January 15, 1934, in Spurlock, Kentucky, the daughter of Will and Lula (Hale) Shepherd.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Austreberto; children: Sarita (Dale) Parlin, Arturo (Cindy) Arizmendi, Wanda (Jeff) Arizmendi Baker, Laurie (Tony) Gladstone, and Therese (Steve) Pattinson; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters: Vina Adams, Alice Briggs, Emma Moreno, Lila (Kenneth) Lewis, and Lora (Donald) Jordan; brothers: Johnnie Shepherd, Tommy (Alice) Shepherd, Bill Shepherd, Holbert (Linda) Shepherd, Earl (Mary) Shepherd, and Jack (Kay) Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Henry Shepherd.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30, Thursday, April 21, at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home, in Marshall, Michigan.
