Marrow Bentley Jr., age 55, of Grethel, husband of Loretta Hall Bentley, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at his residence.

He was born January 7, 1951, in Martin, the son of the late Marrow Bentley Sr., and Verdie Hamilton Bentley. He was a retired coal truck driver, and worked with the Salvation Army.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta, a son, Jody Dale Bentley of Grethel; a daughter, Sabrina Ann Bentley Hughes of Grethel; three brothers: Clerance Bentley and Lloyd Dean Bentley, both of Teaberry, and Vernon Bentley of Lebanon, Ohio; four sisters: Mary Lou Howell, Augustine Bryant, and Lois Tackett all of Teaberry, and Joann Mullins of Grethel; four grandchildren: Jacob Dale Bentley, Kagan Reece Bentley, Cameron Lee Hughes, and Kassidy LeeAnn Hughes; and one step-grandchild, Cailey Nicole Brown.

Funeral services for Marrow Bentley Jr., will be conducted Friday, March 31, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Regular Baptist ministers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, in Ivel, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.

Visitation is after 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Funeral Home, with nightly services at 7:00.
