CAMPBELLSVILLE - The Campbellsville University football program has signed a total of 62 freshman with the addition of seven more recruits recently.
“We're real excited about our recruiting class this year as we continue to build a solid foundation for our program,” said Tiger Coach Jim Deaton. “I've said all along that we'll have some of these new guys see some playing time and I think we've put together a really strong class,” he added.
The latest signees are:
Eddie Creech, a 6-0, 195-pound defensive back from Cumberland High School, Cumberland.
Jordan Drake, a 5-10, 200-pound linebacker/fullback from Grayson County High School, Leitchfield.
Anthony Ellis, a 5-5, 137-pound defensive back from Iroquois High School, Louisville.
Larry Hurlbut, a 6-0, 150-pound punter from Orange Park High School, Orange Park, Fla.
Justin Martin, a 6-0, 170-pound wide receiver from Western High School, Louisville.
Andrew Moats, a 6-3, 248-pound defensive end from Elizabethtown High School, Elizabethtown.
Jeremy Vittitoe, a 5-6, 155-pound defensive back from Bullitt Central High School, Shepherdsville.
All Campbellsville University football players have reported to campus and are practicing.
