MARTIN - Beaver Creek Little League recently wrapped up its 2007 regular-season. The charter is gearing up to field teams in the upcoming District 7 Little League tournament. This year, Paintsville Little League will again host the 11-12-year-old division district tournament. Area charters, including Beaver Creek Little League, have chosen All-Star teams in various divisions. The Beaver Creek 11-12-year-old All-Star team is made up of the following players: Josh Clemons (Braves); Jacob Crager (Braves); Dakota Justice (Braves); Austin Barnette (Cardinals); Tyler Cole (Cardinals); Corey Terry (Cardinals); David Kilgore (Dodgers); Jordan Pinson (Dodgers); Cory Thornsberry (Dodgers); Austin Cook (Twins); Dylan Hall (Twins); Brett Mullins (Twins) and Rocky Crisp (Yankees).
Jamie Pinson (Dodgers) will manage the Beaver Creek 11-12-year-old All-Stars. Coaches for the team are Randy Cook (Twins) and Elliott VanHoose (Dodgers).
District 7 Little League tournament play will get underway later this month.
All area coaches are asked to submit their rosters to The Floyd County Times. Rosters can be emailed or faxed.
Three Floyd County Little League charters - Beaver Creek, Harold-Allen-Prater and Prestonsburg - will field teams in district tournament competition.
