PRESTONSBURG - A special ceremony will be held Tuesday at the Mountain Arts Center to commemorate the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The ceremony will be held to honor the lives and families of both victims and safety personnel during the attacks and to commemorate Patriot's Day. All personnel from federal, state and local police, fire, EMS and emergency response teams and their families are encouraged to attend in full uniform.
The ceremony will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public and there is no admission fee.
Entertainment will be provided by the Big Sandy Singers. There will also be a special salute to veterans, public safety personnel and military members.
