The pair of two-hour counseling sessions will take place on Monday, August 8, and Wednesday, August 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.
According to Allison Williams with the Auxier Center, the workshop is for anyone interested in improving their basic financial decision making.
“We’re not talking about retirement and 401ks,” Williams said. “This is really basic budgeting skills, making ends meet, and making cost effective decisions.”
Billed as “an evening of one-on-one budget counseling,” Spalding University and the Auxier Center are also sponsoring a similar series of Health fairs in July aimed at providing checkups, activities and nutritional guides.
The counseling services will be provided by employees, volunteers, and students from Spalding University.
